£2 million gone, and still no clear picture of how to access support

It was announced today that the Volunteer Brokerage Scheme section of the government's £42.5 million support package has shrunk by £2 million. This means that the overall amount of targetted funding to help third sector organisations through the recession is just £40.5 million.

Have a look at the Third Sector Review's article about it:

We're still waiting for clarity on when, where and how this funding will be available, as the Office of the Third Sector's policy team are 'still working on', despite previous promises of information being released this month.

*Sigh*. We promise we'll let you know what's going on just as soon as we know!
