Community Learning
Chests are part of the Skills and Knowledge programme in the Government's
National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal.
The aim is to support
groups and individuals involved in neighbourhood renewal to develop the
skills and knowledge they need to participate in and deliver services
in their local area. The Community Learning Chest will enable residents
to take up learning and development opportunities that will help them
play an active role in the regeneration of their neighbourhoods.
