In May this year VAM was successful in gaining four-year funding through the Big Lottery Fund Basis programme. This is to provide services to voluntary and community organisations (including social enterprises, industrial and provident societies and charities) with income over £50,000 in the City of Manchester.
The Gio project will be providing information, advice, training and one-to-one support on issues such as sustainable funding and opportunities for earning income, developing long-term funding strategies, commissioning and tendering, organisational development, governance issues and crisis support.
